Commuters will now be able to access high-speed internet while travelling along the Makran Coastal Highway.

For development on National Highway-10 (NH 10) and the Makran Coastal Highway, USF continues to work with Ufone on NH25 Uthal to Quetta Highway. High-speed broadband is being used by computers across a 640-kilometer stretch of road running through districts of Kech, Awaran, Gwadar, and Lasbella.

The Makran Coastal Highway, or N10, travels 653 kilometres along the Makran Coast. From Karachi in Sindh to Gawadar in Baluchistan, it includes all of the Arabian Sea coastline of Pakistan, which runs from Pasni to Omara.

While the Ministry of Information and Technology and PTCL oversaw the installation of a fibre optic cable in nine unserved Tehsils in North Waziristan and South Waziristan, the USF Pakistan managed the installation of 85 kilometres of cable in North Waziristan and South Waziristan. Spinwam, Wana, ToiKhulla, Jandola, Sarwakai, Saratoga, and Barwand will have high-speed broadband connectivity as a result of the Optical Fiber Cable.
